Mount Catedral is a paradise for advanced skiers who can choose from cruisers, moguls or off-piste skiing.<br \/>\n21 Mountain Restaurants and Bars, spread all over the mountain.<br \/>\nAt 1030 meters over sea level, Catedral is a pioneer among South American ski resorts, being <strong>the most complete<\/strong>, and it continues updating its facilities to offer visitors the most advanced infrastructure.<\/p>\n<h3>GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE MOUNTAIN<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Base Elevation: 3,380 ft. \/1,030 m<\/li>\n<li>Summit Elevation: 7, 837 ft.\/ 2,388 m<\/li>\n<li>Runs Maximum Elevation: 6,892 ft. \/ 2,100 m<\/li>\n<li>Vertical Rise: 3,512 ft. \/ 1,070 m<\/li>\n<li>Terrain: 1,482 acres \/ 600 hectares<\/li>\n<li>Slope: 3\u00ba to 60\u00ba<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>WINTER SEASON AVERAGE SNOWFALL (according to statistics)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Summit (7,837 ft.): 236 inches \/ 6 meters<\/li>\n<li>Intermediate (5,251 ft.): 118 inches \/ 3 m<\/li>\n<li>Base (3,380 ft.): 59 inches \/ 1,5 m<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>LIFT HOURS<\/h3>\n<p>Weather conditions permitting, lifts open daily at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<h3>RUNS<\/h3>\n<p>Ski and snowboard lovers find in Catedral the most extensive skiable surface of South America: over 2,964 acres (1,200 hectares), half of which comprises prepared runs, while the other half is off-piste terrain with breath-taking views and exciting adventure!<\/p>\n<p>The Resort has more than 1,482 acres (600 hectares) of east-facing slopes suitable for skiing, with an excellent blanket of snow from early June to early October, and enjoying full daily light exposition. Its direct and close-to-base access to runs makes of Catedral a unique resort, with the most complete facilities on Base, which is at 3,380 ft. (1,030m) above sea level. The maximum reachable height above sea level, at 6,892 ft.
