Argentina is well-known because of its vast farming lands. There are a lot of “estancias” in Patagonia offering many options for the tourist. Patagonia has its own characteristics of scenery, ranch size, architectural style and type of food. There are hills and mountains which can be explored on foot or on horseback, as well as numerous valleys, canyons, native forests and extensive grasslands.<\/p>\n

Activities in a Patagonian ranch include fishing, hunting, horseback riding, walks, native fauna and wild life sighting (deer, guanacos, foxes, hares) and flora observation. In addition, you get the opportunity of learning about the history of early settlers and their pioneering endeavors.
\nGuests can also take part in ranch chores, such as sheep shearing, lamb and cattle branding and informal gatherings where folk music is played while enjoying a traditional \u201casado\u201d accompanied by excellent Argentine wine. Don\u2019t leave without having a round of the traditional \u201cmate with tortas fritas\u201d, a traditional beverage which you will be able to try wherever you go, especially if you visit one of the numerous Estancias that cater to travelers.
